Week 5

The Bucs lost 33-14 to the colts on sunday, putting them back in a tie for the NFC south lead with a 3-2 record. Peyton Manning picked apart the Bucs defense connecting on 27 of 34 passes. Jeff Garcia had a solid game as he started out 9-9, and for the fifth straight game didn't throw an interception. Alex Smith had two catchs, both of them for three yards and both of them for touchdowns. Joey Galloway wasn't himself as he dropped a couple crucial passes right over the middle of the field. The O-line only allowed one sack allgame but Garcia was under pressure all game. The Defense looked sloppy and couldn't cause any big plays. Derrick Brooks, Phillip Buchanon and Barrett Ruud each hit double digit tackles. Tanard Jackson made his first career interception in the second quarter of Manning. Manning had way to much time in the pocket as the Bucs D-line couldn't get any pressure on him all game and they ended the game with a grand total of zero sacks. The Bucs head back home to Tampa to take on the Titans in week 6.
