Week 10

The Bucs continue to show their dominance in the NFC South as they move to 3-0 in their division and 6-4 overall. The Bucs crushed the decimated Falcons 31-7, helping the Bucs move a little closer to that division title. Jeff Garcia has been nothing short of amazing as he didn't throw an interception for the ninth time in ten games. Garcai finished the game with 159 yards and two touchdowns. Earnest Graham had another impressive outing as he finished with 107 yards and a touchdown on only 17 carries. Joey Galloway and Alex Smith caught both of Garcias touchdowns. The Offensive line should get much of the credit for the W as they opened up plenty running room for Graham and Pittman and allowed only one sack. The Bucs D hasn't looked better this season, shutting out the Falcons until the final minutes of the game. Barrett Ruud intercepted his second pass of the year and is adding to his outstanding season that will hopefully lead to a pro bowl. Greg White caused havoc in the backfield creating two sacks and forceing two fumbles. Chris Hovan had the other interception, the first of his career. Ronde Barber scord the Bucs first Defensive touchdown of the year on a 41 yard fumble recovery in the second quarter. Cato June also played solid making a team high nine tackles and causing a fumble. But the best thing to watch on sunday was the improving play of Gaines Adams, every week he has been working and it is starting to pay off as he notched another sack and helped Hovan get his into by stripping Byron Leftwich The Bucs play the Redskins next week as they try to move to 7-4 on the season.

Week 9 (bye)

The Bucs bye couldn't of came at a better time as the injuries for the pewter pirates were starting to add up. The Bucs will have two weeks to get ready for the Atlanta Falcons. They go into the bye with a 5-4 record and are in first place in the NFC South.
